Features

SPC - Quality Control
X_bar and Standard Deviation, X_bar and Range, and Individual and Moving Range charts.  Control charts are fully customizable.

Process Capability
Capability window displays a histogram, specification limits, control limits, Cpk, Cp, DNS, ST, PCI, standard deviation, and mean.  A canned report may be printed.

Communicate to PLC's via OPC Servers
Integrate Avance into automated processes by communicating to PLC's. Avance may write to registers on KepDirect OPC servers that link human interface programs to PLC's. Communicate with PLC's when a process goes out-of-control, in-control, or out of specification to take immediate action.

Communicate to Devices via RS-232
Integrate Avance into automated processes by communicating to a wide range of devices (PLC's, CMM's, digital mic's, CNC's, etc.). Avance may read ASCII type data from any serial connection (RS-232).

Communicate to Controllers via Modbus TCP
Integrate Avance into automated processes by communicating to contollers. Avance may read and write using the Modbus TCP protocol. Communicate with controllers when a process goes out-of-control, in-control, or out of specification to take immediate action.

Real Time SPC and Data Aquisition
Gather data and monitor process control in real time.

Variable Linking
Variables may be linked to minimize repeated data entry.

Additional Data Inputs
Avance may record up to six addition inputs per sample. All numerical data and the six additional inputs may be exported to csv files for advanced analysis such as analysis of variance (ANOVA).

Record Process Changes
Avance's logbook may be used to record changes made to a process. All logbook entries may be viewed on control charts to help identify special causes of variation.

Spreadsheet
A spreadsheet displays all data entries, time/date data, and attributes. All entries are editable.

Specification Limits
Display specification limits on control charts and histograms.

Manual Data Input
Data may be entered manually using a text input box located on the main screen. Enter data in the text box and press the 'return' key to load it.

Control Rule Settings
Set the rules that define out of control subgroups.

Printing/Exporting
Print spreadsheets, control charts, histograms. Export data in csv format for post processing.

Data Management
Filter data points such as outliers using conditional statements, sort data chronologically, and merge multiple variables together.

Probe Subgroups from Control Charts
Click on any subgroup within a control chart to view relevant data.

Images
Part and variable images may be loaded and viewed during data collection so users can see on screen the dimension, the part, or the variable to be measuring. Displaying part and variable images simultaneously with spreadsheets and control charts helps to reduce data entry error because users can see the feature they should be handling.

Import Text Files
The default text file loader loads and saves all project information, i.e., all setup options and data. This file may be monitored in real time.

Python Scripting Analysis
Avance includes a Python scripting environment - Python is a powerful and popular scripting language. The python language is integrated into Avance and may be used to create customized plots, trend charts, histograms, box plots, regression analysis, and most other types of analysis.
